For a comparison test
on Ceramic Tile, Natural Stone and other cementitious surfaces
just follow these easy steps described below.
What you'll need:
- Sample Size SafeSteps Treatment
- Your regular cleaning solution or SafeSteps Cleaner Degreaser
- pail and mop for application
- clean rinsing water

- Identify TWO distinct but adjacent, small areas (approx 2' x 2' each) allowing for easy comparison of treated and non-treated areas.

- Prepare each test area by precleaning with your regular cleaner or SafeSteps Cleaner-Degreaser solution at the recommended strength.
- Allow the surface to dry.

 |
- Treatment should be used directly from the bottle without dilution. Pour and spread using a mop. (Use a different applicator than the one used to clean the floor.) Apply enough SafeSteps Treatment to thoroughly coat the test area.
- Allow SafeSteps to remain on for not less than 5 minutes. You may continue to mop the area while it treats the surface
- After 5 minutes, and before the treatment dries on the surface, . thoroughly rinse with clean, clear water.

- Puddle water onto each of the test areas of both the Treated and Untreated areas.
- Carefully walk across the untreated area. Notice the reduced traction beneath your feet. As you walk onto the treated area, notice how the traction is dramatically increased providing surer footing. You will feel yourself more secure on the treated area.
